COMPETITION TRAINING

Give purposeful preparation a place in your training journey.

UNDERSTAND. PRACTICE. DEVELOP.

BJJ and Tang Soo Do competition classes support eligible current students as they prepare and apply their skills. Competition is one pathway in the academy; students who do not compete remain part of the same community.

Learning from experience

START WITH THE FOUNDATION.

For current students, use the official class signup. A valid signup approves the selected competition class under the current schedule rule, subject to eligible placement and capacity. Competition classes are not open to public observation.

A CLEAR STARTING POINT.

Signing up for a competition class does not authorize an external tournament, belt test or promotion. Those decisions remain with instructors.

QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME.

What if my child is nervous?

Tell us what feels unfamiliar and what you hope your child will gain from training. Questions and nerves are part of finding a starting point. Instructors guide readiness and placement; confidence is something students can develop through practice.

Does everyone have to compete?

No. Competition is one training pathway. Students who train for skill, health, self-defense or personal development remain part of the community. External competition readiness is an instructor decision.

How do we learn about tuition and gear?

The Tuition & Membership page shows current standard rates and separate costs. Staff confirm individual enrollment terms after acceptance and placement. Ask about appropriate uniforms, protective equipment, size and fit before buying.

YOUR FIRST STEP IS A CONVERSATION.

Watch an appropriate class, meet the instructors and ask what matters to you.

Staff confirmation at least two days ahead · No walk-ins
