A THOUGHTFUL FIRST STEP.
How do we start?
Request an observation using our existing form. Staff confirm the appropriate class and date. Please request and receive confirmation at least two days ahead. A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment; no walk-ins.
What if my child is nervous?
Tell us what feels unfamiliar and what you hope your child will gain from training. Questions and nerves are part of finding a starting point. Instructors guide readiness and placement; confidence is something students can develop through practice.
Which class is right for an eight-year-old?
Age eight intentionally overlaps Little Dragons and youth. Maturity, readiness, safety and instructor judgment determine placement. A birthday does not automatically move a student into another class.
Do we train during the observation?
The first visit is normally for observing. Any invited trial requires staff guidance and completed safety requirements. Trials do not guarantee acceptance, placement or enrollment.

PLAN YOUR CURRENT TRAINING.
Connected current students can sign up in Member Hub for this week or next week. Select each student, the exact day and approved class, then review and confirm. A signup is a plan to attend; waitlisted students need confirmation before training. The usual official signup form remains available, with a separate response for each student.
For regular classes, sign up at least two hours ahead whenever possible; late signup is accepted when space allows. Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 AM BJJ require signup the night before. Check academy updates before leaving.
If plans change, choose Cancel a signup in Classes, then select the exact student and signup and provide a reason. Late cancellations are accepted. Other requires a short explanation. A signup with recorded attendance or another conflict goes to staff review; the existing signup and attendance remain unchanged. Check the result before trying again, and contact staff if it remains unclear.
QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME.
Does everyone have to compete?
No. Competition is one training pathway. Students who train for skill, health, self-defense or personal development remain part of the community. External competition readiness is an instructor decision.
How do we learn about tuition and gear?
The Tuition & Membership page shows current standard rates and separate costs. Staff confirm individual enrollment terms after acceptance and placement. Ask about appropriate uniforms, protective equipment, size and fit before buying.
What if we have a private concern?
Contact the academy through the existing email or text route. Personal concerns receive human review; the hub does not replace that conversation. Cancellation reasons stay off the class roster.
STILL HAVE A QUESTION?
We’ll help you understand the next step for your family and training.
